I sew leather. The tension is kept steady on the thread. It spools out well. The needle does not pull out when you pull the stitcher back for the next stitch. The bobbin stays neat inside. The needles store under the cap so you don't lose them. Compared to other stitchers I have used it is a work of art.

I've repaired tents, gloves, leather covers on tool handles. Many costly items were repaired for much longer use. Easy to use. My only complaint is that the thread is hard to feed when the spool is almost empty.
