The lightweight bracket was used to hold a lightweight flag pole and a small suet holder. The suet and its holder couldn't have weighed one pound. A few birds resting on the top of the pole at one time/another caused the pole to bend to uselessness within 24 hours of purchase. This bracket is obviously manufactured to some pretty light threshold.

My hardware store doesn't sell the heavy duty brass or solid/thick metal brackets.
