I bought a shorter 25-foot length soaker hose in-store. I have a 4'W x 9'L raised garden bed and a 25' hose was longer than I needed so I had to wind it in an S-pattern to fit all of it inside the bed.
The instructions suggested burying the hose a little underground but I wanted the hose on top of the soil and after a few soaks I had the problem of some of the soaker holes squirting water 12 or 15 inches high and getting the bottoms of the plant leaves wet which caused them to mildew. Next year, I'll bury the soaker hose under some earth so it only soaks underground in my garden bed. The holes squirting too high even under low water pressure is why I knocked the hose down to 4 stars.
There are no other issues with this soaker type hose and I hope to give it a good cleaning out of mud/debris to use again next gardening season. I bought a second hose for my other raised garden bed because frankly I haven't yet found a watering system that works better for me.

It is not true that this hose is "kink-resistant". When it kinks, it causes a split in the hose which causes an over-abundance of water to leak out over one area--and never in a spot where a plant is growing! I've had several of these and they have all the done same thing. Not useful for more than 2 seasons.
