The only thing this product has going for it is the lack of odor. At the cost of having to use 3-4 times the mount of product I'd say this was was not worth the purchase. Stripping window sills the gel was not thick enough to penetrate nor stay on vertical surfaces for effectiveness. I will now go out and buy a REAL stripper.

Lay it on thick and this product works. Old wood shed with two coats of paint. In some areas it worked like a charm on others the old original layer of paint became gooey and very difficult to remove, so I'd move on to a section that was easier! Warning lable states "In California, this product is known to cause cancer."

Bought this for a project with my son, so I didn't want bad chemicals. We were quite satisfied. Took a long time to to work, but it did take off almost all the paint in one application.

I like this product ability to tell me when its ready. It sometimes take 2 applications to get all layers but they came of nice and you don't have the left behind smell. Great for doors or smaller projects.

Doesn't do at all what it claims to. Yes, it strips paint - but only one or two layers at a time and that's after it was left on for 12 plus hours. Yes, it's think & easy to apply but it doesn't work well at all. Don't waste your cash on this one

I thought this product worked just fine. I removed several layers of paint from old pine cabinets. It was not difficult. It did not work miracles and it was not as easy as looks on TV, but it got the job done with a minimum amount of effort. It is messy like all strippers. But, what is wonderful--you don't have to wear a mask, you can do it indoors without opening windows, you don't have to worry about the fumes affecting pets, children and individual with airway problems and if you get it on your skin, it will not burn or harm you!!

This product fails to meet the claims of the manufacturer in every way except for: it is thick enough and it does not have a toxic smell. These features, however, are really not of value when the reason one uses a paint stripper is to strip paint and this product clearly does not come close to stripping paint in the way described on the container.
