Not at all happy with this product. I purchased the item just over two years ago (of course right outside of the warranty) and it's on the curb now for trash pickup. After the first season it started leaking gas so I replaced all of the plastic lines (note, the fuel lines are run through the tank with no fitting...only the diameter of the hose seals it from leaks). Then half way through though the second season it started leaking gas again but this time from the carburetor. The plug must be pulled and cleaned frequently. I have a rather small yard and this unit couldn't keep up just trimming around the house and the fence. If you want a good fight and have money to blow on a trimmer each year then this is the one for you.

Gets heavy half way thru the yard. Have just short of half acre. Being a short person and shot arms, trimmer having a straight shaft, its hard to trim. For me its not good around rocks

A learning curve starting it. Plenty of power at the engine, seems to get lost at drive end. My first double string, so maybe that will take a while learning.
A nice trimmer though.

For normal use on a normal lawn this trimmer works beautifully. One of the fastest starting times for a trimmer. Usually takes only a couple of pulls even when it is cold. It can start to get heavy after a while since it doesn't have a shoulder strap, but at this price, you won't find too many that do. Overall a good buy.

I like the fact, that it starts easy, but I only used it tree times and the starter cord handle fell off pulling the cord inside the housing and having to have special tools to take it apart to replace the cord
