This is hardly soil. Looks like finely ground mulch masking a peat moss. There isn't an ounce of black dirt in the bag. The only plus, though scant, is the cow manure.
I've become very disappointed with Miracle-Gro over the past 30 years. What was once a quality product is now junk. I'm tired of companies living on their past reputations.

I outline an area I will grow flowers in, remove the old soil and replace it with this garden soil, then put on some mulch. My flowers never looked better, even in the extreme heat of the summer.

I had a friend call this evening and was complaining about the soil. It is hard as a rock . In order to water you have to poke holes in the containers to get the water down. I have used Miracle-Gro fertilizer for years and love it. What happened. My plants are not growing in this mess and now I have other people saying the same thing.

Miracle Grow garden soil doesn't hold the moisture. I bought this because others I tried did just that. Very Disappointed. Plants didn't do well.
