Comments about Kaytee® Safflower Wild Bird Seed:
Obviously it depends on what you want these for. My belief is that if outdoor birds aren't eating them, it is because there are yummier choices at the moment.
Seeds are high calorie, and my parrots were getting pudgy. These are better than sunflower seeds; those they will scarf down immediately even if they are not hungry, and have none left. So I give a teaspoon a day of these with a pinch of sunflower seed in with their pellets. Keeps them busy looking for uneaten ones among their pellets. They like them, after the sunflower seeds are gone.
Keep them for a snowy day; maybe then they'll "sell". Of course, if there's no food, squirrels might eat them also. :-(

Comments about Kaytee® Safflower Wild Bird Seed:
Been feeding birds for 30+ years. Thought I would try this product to deter the squirrels. No squirrels..ok. Now I have two full feeders that no birds are coming to now. I would like my money back to buy some sun flower seeds and just deal with the squirrels.
