Comments about ACE HARDWARE Ace® Faucet Handle Remover / Puller:
This tool might work for most, but if you have a tough faucet handle it will likely break and be completely non-functional. The critical flaw with this product is that near the top is two halves of a piece of steal stamped together around a bolt which you can't see in the picture because it is within the two pieces of stamped steal. The problem with this when you use this tool on a particularly tough handle the two arms holding the handle pull on the stamped steal near the top. The bolt within those two pieces of steal will actually break free from it rendering the tool completely useless. Now if you are good with welding you might be able to easily fix this by welding the bolt to the steel so it can't break free. The good part about this tool is the metal bar that holds the two handles together. A lot of other faucet pullers i've seen don't have this and it is extremely useful. At the same time if you look at other pullers you'll see that they do not use this terrible stamped steel with a bolt inside, they use two pieces of steel stuck together that is then tapped so the screw goes into it directly. If they would just modify that one part of this tool it would be fantastic. As it is now though it breaks easily and once it breaks is completely useless.
