Comments about Victor® Monkey Grip Tire Gauge (22-5-60097-M):
Was going on a trip and wanted to get the tire pressure on my Ford Explorer up to snuff. Did some quick online research and found a gent who worked for the US Military and whose job it was to maintain the tire pressure on all of their vehicles - he recommended a digital tire gage as being the most accurate. This "Monkey Grip" was only a few bucks more than gauge models and pencil-type tire pressure checkers.
Man is this thing great - AND - they don't even advertise it's great feature: A bright green LED light shines out of the tip and the panel lights up very brightly to get the reading. This feature was very useful for me, even in the late winter afternoon, as the light was getting dim - but this worked like a champ!
Very easy to take my tire pressure measurements and got them all inflated to 34.5 PSI for my highway trip (between 32 - 35 PSI is generally considered standard).
Discovered one of my rear tires was low by 11 pounds! Yikes!!
Have nice piece of mind now, nothing beats that.
BTW - I rarely write reviews!
