Installed at our warehouse we used the correct transformer and to make a long story short the striker does not move far enough left to right. It appeares to be engineered so the striker only moves about 2 millimeters. Most of the noise is generated by the viberation on the wood studs that we mounted it to. There is one small sweet spot on the bell, as you rotate it, the bell stops ringing.
