It flashes brightly to signal other vehicles you are having a problem. It also is magnetic so you can stick it to the side of the car if disabled. I got stranded on the side of the road in somebody else's car, with no power, and wished I had mine with me. Will be buying more for all my kids for their cars.

I ordered two and one was out of package and button was dirty as if already used and was stuck on flashing light only. The other one had a piece of plastic break off when i tried to put batteries in. I will return this product and not purchase another.
