Comments about ACE HARDWARE Gunk® Carb & Parts Cleaner (CC3K):
I've been using this stuff for years. I use it on small engine and motorcycle carbs. Usually let soak overnight for maximum cleaning. Now I've heard from friends that this stuff is about as toxic as nuclear waste. If you read the label it says "Environmentally safe". If you read the warnings they say quite the opposite. I been told to get rid of it, but where and how?

Merchant response: For DISPOSAL: Container may be recycled in a recycling centers when empty. Before offering for recycling, empty the can or bottle by using the product according to the label. If recycling is not available, wrap the container and discard in the trash. Dispose of used and unused product in accordance with all local, state government and federal laws and regulations.
