When I brought my 1 year old, 30 lb Australian Cattle Dog home from the shelter, we spent a nightmarish first evening trying to crate train. We both hated it - the crate was bulky and in the way, and Zorro didn't want to be isolated. My mom noticed that ACE was having a sale on these wonderful dog beds. I brought one home and put it into my room - he instantly curled up in an adorable ball, and quieted down. Now there is one in my room and one in the living room - he loves both, and they are definitely his space! Also, these were great and inexpensive for keeping him off the furniture.

We have two of these beds, one in the family room and one in the living room. My dog will use the one in the room we are in.
It is very sturdy he loves to dig at his toys in it and we have seen no damage.
I would recommend this bed to anyone that wants a safe warm place for their dog.
