The chairs are ventilated mesh, but of a thickness that is as comfortable as a padded chair no worries about cushions genuine soaked when it rains. The frame isn't heavy, but not too lightweight to be flimsy or easily blow overThe separate leg rests are a really nice addition. Note that they are rated for only up to 250 lb if that is a concern for you.

mostly I like this set. the directions and actually assemble were not very easy to follow or complete. Most holes for screws aligned among the pieces that needed to go together but in some cases they did not. this is requiring additional drilling and maybe bending of pieces to make the connections work. once put together the set looks nice and is comfortable to sit in. I think it is a good value for the $$ if you can get it put together satisfactorily.
