I bought this for supplemental heat in an 85 sq. ft. bath which already was connected to a forced hot air central heating system. It is much less expensive than other ceiling-mounted heaters that I found. Because of its light weight, it was a breeze to install even though I had to add another electrical box in the ceiling. Since it is only 1200 watts, it works fine with lights and an exhaust fan on a 15 amp breaker. It provides a noticable amount of heat and is quieter than the exhaust fan in that bath. The only negative that I can think of is that the unpainted aluminum is not very attractive.
