This is perfect for pull tab cans that leave a sharp edge that chews spatulas to death. Great for cream soups that just slide out of can. Love it!

The two best things about this can opener: no sharp, jagged edges to worry about cutting yourself; the lid doesn't fall into the can, touching the food and then you have to pry it out (without cutting yourself of course). The hand grip is very comfortable. It may take you a couple tries to get it latched on, but once you know how, it's easy as pie! Will never willingly use a regular can opener again. These also make great gifts (stocking stuffers, etc).

Some folks in my kitchen have needed practice to get this to work; it sits flat on the top of the can, not to the side. Once you get it right it works every time, even for kids. I have been using mine for over 10 years and i love it.

Good luck figuring this thing out even with the instructions. I got it to work once but since it has just been sitting in the drawer. Paid [$] so won't throw it awa, waiting for a sucker to give me $10 for it. Seriously, it was a waste of money.Zyliss doesn't even come up on a Google search to ask them about it.
