The 1st Seabreeze Thermoflo lasted for years. I liked the idea that it could be installed directly facing the shower and is rated for BR use. This one arrived with the heating coil and fan not attached inside - Returned to local dealer - they assembled by putting in two missing screws - I installed in place of the old one and this one only ran for about 5 minutes, then stopped heating and the fan stopped - I returned it to the local dealer and they have ordered a new one that should be in today. 5 minutes is not enough time to warm up the BR for a shower and still have the room warm when stepping out. I am hoping I just got a Lemon and that the replacement Thermoflo will work as the 1st one did.

We bought this outlet mountable heater since we wanted supplemental heating in our bathroom which always feels chilly in the morning. It installed readily over the electrical outlet with the accessory mounting bracket and locking bar. We appreciate the energy saving technology, since it will heat the room quickly on the high setting, then we maintain the room comfort at the lower setting, wherein the fan speed is synchronized to the heat output for a very intense warmth at 1000 watts. We can then plug in our electric toothbrush to charge in the auxiliary outlet. Cudos to Ace Hardware for promoting such a unique, quality product!

We have used this heater for two years. I'm finally having to replace it but it has hundreds of work hours. We run it October through June due to the cold climate. I have never used the outlet on the side and would not except for a toothbrush charger or something really light on energy usage. The fan will pull in dust from the back which will disable it. Unplug and blow out the dust with an air hose OR rinse it out in the shower or bathtub. Be SURE it is dry when you plug in and it is ready to go until the dust disables it again. I most like the convenience of having it off the floor and taking up little space.
