Our bulbs are still going strong after 3 years. They did not fit inside the harp on our table lamps, so we replaced the harps with taller ones. They give great light once they warm up a bit.

The light cost 4 times more than a regular 3-way bulb but it only lasted 1 year. That is as long as a regular bulb. I think I will keep stock up on regular bulbs because they are going to be banned in 2012.

I have 3 of them in table lamps and they seem to fit just fine. The light is great. I have gone thru many convention 3-way bulbs in the past. I'm hoping these last much longer. I'll buy more.

The standard A21 50/100/150 3-way bulb is on 5" long. This whopper is 6.3" long. I bought a 2" larger harp but then the shade was too short. I'm returning this. It's not ready for prime time.
