I love when red pappers are at their peak season along with broccoli and other summer and fall produce. I steam briefly and seal, date and put it right into the freezer. Tomatoes get made into sauce and also sealed and frozen. You can put the expiraton date on these items as well by looking at how long each item lasts stored air tight and frozen. Some for 2 years! I am impressed and have been using this for over 2 years now.
