It kicks the heat from my fireplace all over the house.

One of our friends has been using a Vornado heater for several years in her home in a northern state during the cold days of fall, winter and spring. She told us about the Vornado and how well it heats while staying completely cool to the touch.
We live in SW Florida and ordered a Vornado to use on cold mornings or evenings rather than turning on our central heat. We have been amazed at its efficiency and how quickly it heats large areas.
We would definitely recommend this product. Ordering through ACE Hardware's website and opting for delivery to our local store was easy and fast.

This is the second heater of this brand I have purchased. Love them both. They heat evenly and fast. Got this one cause you can set the temp you want the room to stay at easily and not have to mess with a manual thermostat. Start it up on high and it heats up my living room to comfortable 70 degrees in 15-20 min. Then I turn it to low and set it at 65 and it keeps the room nice all day. Got it to save on heating costs as oil is so expensive and last year was so cold I ran out before the end of the season. This year I plan to only heat the rooms we are in this way. It is not hot to touch at all and it puts out even heat that is not overly dry. Not covered with warning stickers either although I still keep it clear of furniture and drapes as if it was the old style to be safe. Online ratings said it was suppose to be fairly in expensive to run but to early to tell if that will be the case. The fan does run all the time which bugged me at first till I realized it keeps the air moving which is actually a good thing. Very impressed with the Vornado Heaters I have so far.

This is the fourth one of this model I have bought. Saves big money in winter. Easy to maintain warmer temps in rooms used, and let rest of home cooler. I feel completly safe with this heater, has automatic shut down if turned over. Have small grandchildren we wtch everyday. Never hot or warm to touch!Have reccomended this to a lot of other people and they feel same way!!

In addition to my earlier post I have ordered a third one
one of these heaters for the house. I've had them for 2+ years
now and they are very dependable. I have not used my propane heat for two winters. If they get dusty I blow them out occasionally with the air compressor. I have saved enough money with these heaters now to replace my propane water heater with an electric one, I wish Vornado was in the water heater business! Oh Yeah, I forgot to mention, it's 15 degrees here this morning.

This heater is awesome. It is getting in the 20's here in Texas, and it keeps me toasty warm without having to keep the furnace heater going. I'm in a townhome so use it mainly in the BR when I sleep, and then during the day put it in the main living area. It is energy efficient and heats up the room quickly.

We have used these heaters for 6 years. Would not use any other. Extremely efficient cost usage, has reduced my heating bills considerably. The low volume fan and the vortex grill spreads the heat evenly throughout the room. The digital controls are easy to use.
Very rarely turn on central heating here in the North Georgia Mountains, and then for a quick warming after being out all day.
Like all fan products, dust must be blown out about three times a winter.
Highly recommend it. Have turned many friends and neighbors onto it, including my mother in northern Illinois.

Heater has a troublesome flaw. You cannot control the speed of the fan (it automatically speeds up and slows down). If it is in slow mode when turned off, it has difficulty starting the fan. Ours got to the point where the fan would not spin even though the heat elements came on, and an internal fuse blew. The company paid shipping repaired it and it has worked fine since.
