I've used other magnetic and electronic stud finders but this one works 100% of the time. I had a location that had foil over the insulation and the elctronic stud finder could not find a stud but this one worked, it has very powerfull magnets and will hang from the found nail or screw and you can have a attached string with a light weight on it to plumb down the stud.

The product is basically a heavy duty magnet that seeks out any metal items behind the wall. Once it finds the metal, it hangs on the wall. It has been accurate 100% of the time in my case.
