Light is outside and last OK. Remote has a 6 months life IF you protect it from rain. Will fail and stay on all the time. The remote (I have gone through 6) will not outlast the batteries. I have a specific location that requires a remote. If I had any alternatives, I would ditch these in an instant.

I bought a set a few years ago. Two lights with two remote sensors, only one of the sensors worked properly, then that stopped working. Returned these and got another set. Both worked good for about a month. For the last year, one of the sensors only works like it is in test mode, no matter the setting. The other works fine.

Great product but it needs a heat sensor. If you use it outside it will go off like crazy on windy days, e.g., if a tree limb moves, leaves fall, etc.
