Comments about Corona® Tree Pruner (TP3714):
My Uncle gave this tree pruner to me after he used it alot. He said it didn't seem that bad at 1st but it just got annoying and time-consuming. It was givin to me so I didn't complain but after 8 months of using it on average 3times a week I used the 1 my uncle repalced it with. Wow!!! I gotta say that $pending a little more $ is worth it in this case. Now he has the next $ize up made corona tree pruner. Its $25 more but the time you will save working on trees & getting upset because of blade/rope clogs, makes it worth the step up.
Pros
Cons
- Blade jams a lot
- Difficult To Use
- Dull Blade
- Hard To Cut Branches
Best Uses
- Nothing in a garden
Comments about Corona® Tree Pruner (TP3714):
Blade jams even on thin branches. Pruner gets stuck on branch when jam occurs, difficult to unjam, dangerous if branch is high up and ladder needed to unjam.
Blade is very short and very dull. Exact positioning is needed to make cut because of short blade.
Extension handle does not stay locked in position even when properly tightened.
Saw blade does not cut easily.
Takes easily 3 to 5 times longer to use than other brands.
Overall, a piece of junk. Expect to see it on sale in closeout section of dollar store.
