Instructions are clear and the unit is easy to assemble. But beware if you are replacing an older model LiftMaster and expect to use your existing ceiling-mount hanger hardware. The trolley rail on this model (and likely others in the line) is roughly five inches longer than the earlier models. In my case, the old unit brackets attached to the base of a truss. The trusses were spaced at 24 inches meaning that I needed to cut a ceiling opening and install bracing to provide a new hanger attachment point.

Replaced an old Liftmaster unit. Was able to use the old wall mount switch and motor hanger brackets, which were stronger than the hanger brackets supplied with this unit. Otherwise, I was required to strip out all the other parts and start new with these new components.
