Quiet when new, but fan gets louder with age & use. No way to tell if it'd quiet down with cleaning/lubrication, but I may try that when I replace the bulb. It's a bit heavy in the wall outlet & tends to "droop" out of socket and sometimes fall out. Manufacturer's website lists stores to find replacement bulbs, but those stores don't seem to have stock. [...]
