I use with a fancy, victorian style, beaded glass lamp with an opaque glass dome. Guests routinely ask "where did you get that lamp?" as lightbulb makes glass dome appear to be stained glass & lamp shades to be uniquely multi-colored. It casts flattering, beautiful, low light suitable for quiet evening talking, TV viewing, or surfing the web. Not adequate lighting for extended reading. Lasted a full year with daily use.
