Comments about NEO-NEON INTERNATIONAL 1005140 L.E.D. Rope Light:
I love the look of these 9 ft white LED rope lights and that they use 5 W of electricity. Unfortunately they don't last. I ordered three of them less than two months ago, and two have already burned out. Actually half the strand burns out. I have them both on timers, one indoors and one outdoors, being on for approximately four hours per day. The third one was blue, even though the package said white, so I gave it away and can't comment on whether that one still works. I had also ordered several others four months ago, and one of those has burned out. When one burned out this evening, I realized this must be a problem with the manufacturer. My whole house was completely rewired about two years ago so I know it's not an electrical problem. I love the idea of saving electricity and using things that last a long time. Just not these lights.
