A leak started after two years of use. A screw rusted that was installed at factory and could not be replaced. had to buy a new unit. Would not recomend!

My home was built in 2000 with Insinkerator Badger 1 disposal installed. I completed a kitchen remodel in 2007. Much to my surprise, my contractor suggested I keep my disposal, which he normally suggests having replaced during a remodel, but nothing was wrong with mine. For the price, service length and quality, I highly recommend this product. It is not "quiet", but nothing outrageous. You know you are running the disposal, that is all! As the CEO of my kitchen and Head Chef, I use this product multiple times a day and it has served me well. I clean, now and again, with ice cubes, salt and lemon. After 9-years, I have a leak in the bottom plate, which costs [$] for the replacement part. Overall, a tremendous value!

Just a waste of $ poor quality,I spent $20 more & got a 1/2hp 2600 VORTEX WASTE KING AND ITS SO QUIET AND AMAZING UNIT ITS PERFECT.
