Sensor works fine for working out in the yard, but is useless for away-from-home security because the light stays on all night and all day.

This is great during the dry summer months but on rainy days it will quit working for about 2 days after rain stops - and it is not getting moisture inside.

I used this product to detect when ferral cats were eating cat food at night in a small room with a narrow door opening.
The first unit failed after about 3 weeks use. the next two products failed after an initial test.

I liked these lights when I installed them. Good coverage, sensor went off at just the right distance, illuminated a very dark corner of my yard very well. However, the sensor got stuck ON after 8 months of use. No matter what I did, the light stayed on until the bulbs burned out.

I bought three sets of these lights exactly fifteen years ago this year. I can't be sure they are the same product, but they sure look the same. I'm in the process of now replacing one set after a bad thunderstorm, which not only blew out this set but a couple of other items in the house. This is the first problem of any kind I've had with these lights in all this time. And if I'm not mistaken, the cost of replacement isn't much more than what I originally paid!

I bought (2) of these 7 years ago for my back yard for [$]. They were cheap and not as pretty looking as the all metal ones with a bulb housing. (1)at [$]that lasted about 6 months, its replacement lasted about a year. One on the other corner at [$] lasted about 3 months. After buying other random ones last night I decided to replace them all with the cheapest light an find. They don't look the best, but they sure seem to last forever. Only problem I've ever had with them is the sensor is more sensitive to the motion of trees than to a person 15' away.
