Ventilates our second floor bedrooms really well, eliminating the need for air conditioning most of the time. We bought a second unit to ventilate our horse barn, and were able to install fan above the door with the wall mount bracket. The powerful air flow keeps aisle cool and even blows annoying insects out the door...

i heard the comment on the motor burning out in a year, it is warrented for two years, therefor couldnt it be replaced for free? i like the fan but only had it a short time.

We use this jet inspired fan to ventilate the main floor of our century old home. It provides an expansive displacement of air which we can feel throughout the house. Despite its power,the fan is energy efficient, drawing less than 100 watts of electricity.
It certainly lives up to its promoted performance!
We have purchased several other "brand" name fans in the past, which could compare to the quality, quietness and air delilvery of this fan.
It's also made in North America (Canada, actually) which is a big PLUS!

I bought this fan and although it is quiet..it does not last.
The 1st one lasted 1 year before the motor burned out.
I am on the 2nd one ( replacement for the 1st). The motor is loosing power and smelling.Time for a second replacement....
I liked it while it is working?/ Life expectancy with use maybe 1 year???

These fans are low profile with a small foot print. They have power and are quiet. It should be noteed that they also come with a mount, suitable for hanging on walls; Excellent for the deck or porch where space is limited. I wish that ACE would put them on sale again so that I can afford another one!

I don't know how I would survive without this fan.
Ordinary fans blow air mostly sideways rather than forward. This wonder blasts me six feet away in my chair and I never have to worry about getting hot.
