This product was easy to assemble and completely perfect for organizing the chaos inside my closet. I wanted a sturdy shelving unit to stack shoe boxes and baskets on and this one fit the bill. I had purchased a cheaper unit at another store, but returned it because it was too hard to assemble (with 2 people) and poorly designed. This unit was twice as expensive, but 10 times better! I was able to put this unit together by myself in less than 20 minutes!

Unfortunately Gorilla has more than one rack that they provide with the same claims to quality. One that I purchased in the past through another retailer that is very high quality(I have around 800 lbs of tools on it and it's solid as a rock). Then there's this one. It is very flimsy. I put a 50lb box in the middle of a shelf and the shelf supports started to buckle and flair out. A real disappointment. You can tell them apart by the shelf supports. This one is flat and a thin metal. The high quality one is a much better metal and is corrugated to improve strength and stability. I don't understand why they would hurt their reputation by putting out this piece of garbage.

Bought this to fill a need in our pantry. I was already familiar with "Gorilla" products as I have a workbench in the garage from them. We needed a specific shelf that was no deeper than 12".

This shelf is strong, sturdy and the right size for small spaces. This is the only rack I could find of this size. Most of the competition are plastic shelving units that just do not hold up nor support the weight this unit does. Easy to put together and have had no issues with it.

I use the shelves as to store my things in the closet. It it amazing and has led to my house being discluttered, making life easier. It isn't the prettiest to look at since the wood is unfinished. But the benefits outweigh the lack of looks.

We finally decided to replace two particle board bookcases that were literally falling apart and found that wooden bookcases are VERY expensive. Got the idea to replace with two Gorilla Rack shelving units and they work GREAT!!! The only problem and it is a small one that we had was getting shelves installed into the frame. That was easily taken care of and now we have two sturdy bookcases. The Gorilla Rack units are good value for the price.

We use the shelves for storage of groceries, pantry items, household items, paints, and misc garage stuff. These shelves hold up pretty well in my opinion. Each shelf seems to hold way more than 50 pounds anyway.
