I love the drain blocker in this unit. In stead of the standard rubber circle with slits cut into it, this one is designed pleated doubling its ability to prevent the smaller things from dropping down into the grinding chamber. Only the things I want to dispose of go into it.

This product definitely works as designed. The instructions were very easy. I'm a woman and I occasionally complete my own home improvement projects. I didn't want to pay someone to do something that I thought I could do on my own, so I went to the store, selected this product for it's quiet feature, and length of manufacturer's warranty. The only drawback is that it's heavy; but it definitely works like a charm. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone.

Great unit for the price. All stainless steel mechanism and easy to install. A slight negative would be that if installing the unit for someone who is hard-of-hearing, the unit is so quiet they might forget to turn it off.
