THE SMITH SHARPENING PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST BLADE SHARPENING PRODUCTS I HAVE USED. I AM EXPERIENCED USING THE WET STONE METHOD OF BLADE SHARPENING AS WELL AS HAVING TRIED MANY DIFFERNET PRODUCTS TO SHARPEN AND MAINTAIN KNIVES TO THE SHARPNESS I DESIRE. UNTIL NOW THE TASK OF GETTING AND KEEPING KITCHEN AND POCKET KNIVES TO THAT "LIKE NEW" EDGE HAS MEANT HOURS OF TEDIOUS AND DIRTY WORK. I HAVE NEVER USED ANY PRODUCT THAT SO EFFORTLESSLY PUTS A RAZOR SHARP EDGE ON ALMOST ANY BLADE FROM POCKET, HUNTING AND KITCHEN KNIVES. EVEN MORE AMAZING IS ANYONE IN JUST A FEW STROKES OF PULLING THEIR KNIFE THROUGH THE SMITH SHARPENER WILL ACHIEVE THE SAME RESULTS ONE WOULD GET FROM A PROFESSIONAL SHARPENING SERVICE. THE PRODUCT IS EASY TO USE, SAFE, LIGHTWEIGHT, DURABLE AND IS A GREAT VALUE. IF YOU ARE TIRED OF DULL AND DANGEROUS KNIVES THEN THE SMITH LINE OF SHARPENERS IS THE ANSWER.
