I put Gardena quick connect clikers at each end of the 25ft length of hose so I only move a short piece each time, and leave the long pieces in place hidden in the flower borders. The 1/2'' hose is light, easy to carry around, incredibly durable. I tried other brands, forget it.
I am a dedicated gardener.

I was looking for a 1/2" - 25 ft. hose to use to water several potted and hanging basket plants on my patio. After seeing one on another website that was three times the price for one in decorator colors, I decided a known to be quality product was much more important and at a MUCH better price than the designer variety!

I have 3 hoses, two 50 foot and one 25 foot. Well, the 25-foot started to swell up. Time to replace with another. Oh, did I mention that it was made by Gates (who sold the brand to Gilmour) and was bought in 1973. So if you hate replacing items you have already bought, this hose will out live you (if you're over 40) or come close.

This hose just doesn't kink or wear out. I've even had water freeze in the hose overnight with no damage to the hose. I've owned several over the years, my oldest lasting over 30 years. A horse bit it and the hose eventually failed. I will always pick this hose over all others regardless of price.
