I made a home made ventura cold smoker.Hardest thing was to find affordable smoking sawdust or pellets. This product fits the bill awesomely. I attached the ventura cold smoker to my propane smoker...cold smoke the food then cook it slowly and at low temp in the propane smoker. Produces an awesome product.

I use these pellets in my gas grill smoker box instead of the traditional chippped wood pieces. They are more efficient, easier to use, more econimical and impart that same tasty smoked flavor. Try them, you won't go back to chipped wood.
