I bought 4 strings of clear 50 bulb Celebrations LED lights last year and used them outside to decorate our entrance. I figured I make the transition to LEDs despite the cost and buy what I thought would be a quality product, since it was made for Ace Hardware. That was a big mistake! They looked quite nice, but after about 2 weeks we found upon turning the lights on that all 4 strings only partially lit up. (I would have returned them then to the store but was too busy.) This year (Dec 2012) I just spent 1 1/2 hours figuring out which bulbs were bad and replacing them. Must have tested 70 bulbs! Very strange that only part of each string was out and also strange that it was not the first bulb in the unlit portion of the strings. Anyhow, I would not recommend these bulbs, at least for use outdoors (and I have not tried them indoors). A poor quality Ace Hardware product that they should remove from their shelves.

I recently purchased these LED lights from Ace to use on my front tree, I am so happy I did! I love the blue color it sticks out so much! The lights are a perfect size to decorate trees, porches etc. I have highly recommended them to friends and family. I have seen the same lights for double the price everywhere else. I am hoping to get back to Ace tomorrow to get several more boxes at the sale price.
