Comments about Reliance® Lowboy® Electric Water Heater (6-40-DOLNS):
A glorious alternative to a 5 gallon for my loft. Needed a short version of a "normal" size and this is it. Lots of hot water and it fits. Only had it two weeks so cannot comment on longevity but so far is reliable.

Easy to install, not too heavy to lift into place. My wife and I installed it in our cellar. Best price around, delivered free to our local Ace, where we love the staff!

Comments about Reliance® Lowboy® Electric Water Heater (6-40-DOLNS):
This is my second Reliance Lowboy. The first one lasted a little more than 10 years. It broke-down on a Sunday morning, but my local Ace store was able to get me a replacement by Tuesday morning which was really appreciated.
Two things about the new one was that they changed the access to the top inlet and outlet. I had to do a slight modification to be able to use the same hook-up as before. Otherwise it installed perfectly and I had hot water in less than an hour. The other was they reduced the gallons by two. My first one was 40 gal. and the new one is 38 gal. Yet it's listed as 40 gal. Weird, but no big deal.
I would recommend this heater to anyone that has space restrictions.
