If I were to redesign this sak, I would insert a few holes that are just a bit larger. It takes the birds a little while to work up their courage to use it. As the season progresses, they use it extensively. I widen the holes in a few places with an awl so that a greater variety of birds can obtain the seeds with ease.

The finches prefer the netted feeders to metal finch feeders. This stocking is nice because its large size allows for fewer fillings than your average finch stocking.
