Set up took about an hour. I was concerned about the amount of plastic, but it seems pretty sturdy. It has as much grill room as the 10 year old Weber it is replacing, but takes up less space. It will be easier to transport, thought it is not what I would consider a "portable" grill. Cook time was excellent.
One drawback: To turn on the gas, you have to go behind the grill to reach the knob. I'd like to be able to reach it from the front or the side.
The warming rack looks like it will be a handy accessory. My son thinks the grill light is "Cool".

Please include stainless steel cooking grates as the primary OEM grilling surface versus the porcelain/cast iron cooking grates included. I have owned the Q-320 3 years and have replaced the porcelain grates twice at $59.00 pluss shipping. Not good. This is a miss for such a convenient unit.

Use to cook for 3 to 4 people at a time. Heats up quickly. Was very easy to assemble. Stores in a small area. Bought a cover, but, don't think I will use very much. So far I have cooked on this grill every day since purchase. Even works well in the rain. Would not recommend for large group cooking, but was not it's purpose.

I had always sworn that I would never go to a gas grill because I love the flavor from a charcoal grill. However, over the past two summers, I only grilled on my Weber charcoal grill a couple of times because of the expense of the charcoal, dicy cooking temparature thing and time in getting it fired up.
I have not looked back. This grill is excellent and I cook things on it such as pizza that I would never have done on charcoal. I use it about therr time per week and love that it can be used like an oven because of the accurate temperture gague.

We love Weber!
We love the Brenham Ace store!
They took care of assembly for us (a retired couple), loaded it, gave us a quick users' course ... and away we went.
Thanks, Jordan!!

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
This grill is heads above all the other I've owned over the years, including another Weber grill. Cooking with the inside flame off and the outside flame on medium allows for even cooking, with the meat coming out great. Cleanup is a snap as well. My one complaint is the center flame, which is too high even with the burner set on low. Leaving it on burns the food. Other than that, great product!

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
The Q320 grills really well, very even and quick.Really like the look of this grill, perfect size for a small space or if you don't wan't your grill to take over the deck. The quality of metal seems strong, not at all flimsy. With the cart being plastic it will avoid the stand rusting out. Thought the grill was expensive but found that it had no bad reviews so decided to buy. I have been very pleased from the first time I used it. The Q320 comes with more extras over the Q300 so worth the extra money. With it's obvious quality I hope not to have to replace after a couple of years like other grills.

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
My local Ace Hardware store's general manager (Lakeville,MN) suggested this model as it was in my price range to other Weber grills I was looking at. I could not be happier with this product and the accessiries he suggested to me. My grilling has greatly improved which has been immediately noticed by my family members. Also, the fact that the sides fold down for storage make it nice for not taking up as much room as other grills I have had in the past. For a family of 4 and moderate sized gatherings this product is great!

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
I had a big grill from a big BBQ store that I thought was pretty darn good. Heavy, cast iron everything...the works.
It broke and I found this grill. I hesitated because of price---seemed pricey for a smaller, lightweight grill.
As soon as I opened the box my misgivings went away. Quality has a price...and this grill is very nicely engineered and built. Its a cool piece of work. And assembly is easy because its well thought-out.
I also got it for the same price at ACE as at the big BBQ store, and in 3 days instead of 3 weeks. Its made in the U.S. and I bought it from my local ACE---from the guys who help me with everything from plumbing to paint.
This grill is everything other reviewers have said. Far superior grilling than my monster grill with less effort, and less propane. Far outclasses the many grills I looked at in this price range. And its perfect for my wife and I and for small gatherings we enjoy(5-10 people, easily).
Outstanding!!! And great service from my guys at ACE, too, in getting it for me!

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
I used this grill May 21, 2011 at the Better Homes and Gardens Chill and Grill in Chicago. The class was "How to Grill a Steakhouse Steak at Home". Each "student" prepared their own steak using this grill. It was pre-heated for the class and was 600 degrees +, we had to back away from the grill during the lecture.
We seared the steakes beautifully over high heat, then finished them with indirect heat by turning off the center burner. This is by far the best grill made for indirect heat. It is small but will hold 4 to 6 steaks which is family friendly.
It is a space saver and very stylish.

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
The iron grill surface is much better than the welded bar type. It will sear the meat better, it has more even heat. It cleans and is re-seasoned with a cloth towel and olive oil while it is hot.
The precision heat settings allow me to regulate the heat so that when I make bread I get the same heat throughout the process. I throw a few chunks of Mesquite in the corner of the grill and I get some of that smoke into the bread. Yes it is fantastic!
The rack, in the back of the grill is great for corn in the shuck. Nothing is better.
The shape of the top allows for cooking in pots. I have one with a glass lid so I can easily look in. I have cooked Elk tongue, beans, pasta sauce... yes it works great!
The dip pan is easy to get to and remove. No more cutting your hand and spilling it on the way out.
I bought a cover. I put it on once. Yes it fits well. I am using the grill so often I don't even put the cover on.
This is a fun grill.

Decided on this grill since all the possitive reviews from other people throughout different web sites. Plus thought should be a good one since other Q series BBQ's rated very high on Consummer Reports. And to no supprise what an awesome grill it is, the only thing this thing is missing is a propne tank pressure guage which would be nice! This thing from construction to cooking is tops. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

This grill is a snap to use and clean. My wife and I are relatively new to grilling but it's so convenient that we are using it 4-5 times a week. I like that the grill is sturdy and doesn't look like rust will be a big problem. I wouldn't say it's portable but it is light enough to enable an old codger like me to put it away for the winter without a visit to the chiropractor. We shopped around and it has paid off.

Grill was assembled by store at no additional cost. Very easy to use and cooks evenly. Grilling time is greatly reduced compared to previous grills we have owned. Grill is well constructed and sturdy. It is a bit inconvenient to have to reach behind the grill to turn the gas valve on but not a big deal for me.

Comments about Weber® Q 320 (586002):
After checking out all kinds of grills, I finally decided upon a Weber Q320. Our local ACE store ordered it for me since the 320 wasn't in stock and I wanted the light and the bun warmer rack. FABULOUS GRILL. I used to be an occasional griller - I am now cooking everything on the grill - meat, veggies, potatoes, and even dessert (the Weber Big Book of Grilling has some easy, excellent recipes). Love this grill. Food tastes great. I'm a fan.
