This is an awsome grill. We camp a lot in wisconsin state parks, an with the emerald ash bore we were looking for a quality grill instead of cooking over the fire. Do to not being able to bring our own firewood into the parks anymore an having to have to buy it there, we were looking for other opportunities. It is very compact to store in a tote in the camper or the truck. I was a little concerned at first about it only having 8500 btu until I used it, boy was I wrong.Plenty of heat an qwick, with the cast iron crate that holds alot of heat, just like our silver B grill.the only con I have about the grill is that it only takes the tall 14.1oz bottles verses the 16.4 that I normaly carry for our camp lanterns an stoves. weber has to fix that. other than that a excellent grill.

This is my second Q-100 grill. The first grill stopped working after a month but after reading all the glowing reviews I bought another. It lasted two days. In both cases the regulator jet becomes clogged with some grease or orange stuff. Now I have to disassemble the regulator and clean the jet every time we want to cook something. We were using an external propane tank but switched to the little cylinders thinking that the propane might be bad. Didn't help. Can't seem to buy spares anywhere so we are stuck.

Comments about Weber Q 100 (386002):
We have used our Weber portable on our patio, at the park and at a roadside park. We never fail to hear, "Oh you got a Weber! We have been wanting to get one! Those are the best grills on the market!" It controls the heat well, cooks evenly, and cleans much easier than other grills that I have owned. I use a wire brush on the grill and it cleans very quickly. On the stainless grills in the past, they are so difficult to clean as you have to hit them at every angle. Weber engineering seems to have covered every angle including the transportation. Using a larger tank with the extender cable is a plus at home as you can go through the smaller containers of fuel in no time at all. The Weber is a little pricey but pays for itself in no time at all.

This is bar none the best portable grill i ever have owned. I use camping, on my dock and in my boat.
Fits in by deck boat great and cooks evenly and controllable and does not flare up even with greasy burgers. Great for all kinds of food. I will buy another if anything happend to my weber grill. I love it.

Comments about Weber Q 100 (386002):
I like the cast iron grill (I seasoned it first) for grilling vegetables. Cleans easily. Cooks meats well too. It's small, which we need for our small deck. The store assembled for me (thank you) for no extra cost. And I could easily carry it up the steps to our 2nd floor deck.

I use this grill every day and after 2 weeks of use the regulator quit functioning. No one has a regulator!!!! I can't believe Weber would do that unless they have a bad issue with this part. Nice grill, just NO PARTS!!!

It is a great Gas grill, I did read some comments of other users, there was a comment that it is not practicale(does not get hot enough), well I cooked at once 4 steaks(3/4 of an inch, rib eye)and this grill does the job.
before using the grill it is recomended to warm the grill for 10 minutes and than use it, it's magic in less than 10 minutes the meat was ready.
I have 22 inch charcoal grill, but the Q100 is my everyday grill.

Comments about Weber Q 100 (386002):
We use it all summer in our RV and have never had a problem. Have cooked meat for a group of six people and had plenty of grill space. We are going to give our 100 to our daughter and buy the 120 for ourselves (might even get rid of our big Weber!) Had numerous small grills and debated about the cost but it is well worth the money.
