I used this product to turn a plug to the side allowing me to push a microwave closer to the wall and in the recess on the microwave for the plug

Andrew Sedlack apparently doesn't understand electrical specifications. You should not use any electrical outlet in a wet location without a GFI, so it is unfair to call this unsafe. GFIs are a different product, this is a regular outlet.
He also doesn't understand that all regular outlets are only rated to 15A too. A 20A outlet has a horizontal blade. This is not common in residential applications. Most residential breakers are 15A, so it is completely appropriate to have a 15A outlet.
If he truly is a professional, I fear for the safety of the people of Philadelphia.

Why didn't someone come up with this years ago!!! I have a couple in every room in my house and would highly recommend this product to anyone. Since installing the 360 outlet, I have been able to do away with several extension cords that used to accommodate large plugs.
