This screen was exactly what we were looking for. It has a simple, classic design, stops sparks, and while it was a little unbalanced we managed to fix that very easily. It was a very nice upgrade to our fireplace.

I use this screen on our fireplace in the living room. It works great for keeping the sparks off the rug and I have had comments on how beautiful it is. It looks like the expensive ones from pottery barn, etc. However, when I first set it up the doors did not sit quite properly (boyfriend has since manhandled them into a better position)and we still have trouble with the screen tilting, lilting and falling when you open the doors... you must find the "sweet spot" where the angle of the sides just balances the doors... OR ... we have found that placing it flat against the fireplace brick keeps it from falling, but that doesn't really complement the shape as well as having it slightly set away from the fireplace with the sides folded back. Just my two cents.. I searched and searched online and this was the BEST looking and OK performing screen for the money. WAY BETTER than some chincy, cheesy gold thing from [...]!!

This fireplace screen is just what I was looking for. I have priced many at varies stores and online websites and have not seen anything that even comes close for twice the price. It is nice looking, functional and the convenience of the doors is just an added bonus. So if you are thinking of purchasing GO-4-IT.

After extensive online shopping around, I was hesitant to purchase this item because of the low price. With an Ace store close by for a possible return, I decided to take a chance. SOOO glad I did. For the price, this is an elegantly designed, sturdy, usable product. I have a rather difficult-to-fit fireplace and it works beautifully. Highly recommended.
