Bought four of these bulbs for use in vanity lighting in bathroom. Two of them have burned out in less than six months. Light is minimal unless left on for more than 2 minutes. Too bad that one cannot rate this product in minus stars as it would then score 5 stars

These bulbs are great, once they warm up. From the time the switch if flipped till the bulb is at full brightness is around 2 minutes. I purchased 3 of these bulbs to use in a vanity light in our front bathroom. They appear purple when first turned on and are no brighter than having three 10 watt bulbs. Once warmed up then they are great. Extremely low heat compared to standard bulbs and just as bright.
