Comments about MTD Products® Yard Machines® 158CC Tiller (21A-250M000):
This tiller worked very well in our small garden. It worked really well in the portion that had been previosly tilled the year before, It as a bit more of a hang on an tight and lets go situation on the harder packed material but thats to be expected. A little hard work is good for us. Cons were that right out of the box the motor would not run quit right but I found a tougher spring for the rpm controll and that fixed the problem. After ten minutes of running one of the pins that holds the tines to the drive shaft lost its clip and was tilled under. Kind of discouraging after only ten minutes but that to was easily fixed. The spring was the worst problem because someone buying a machine would expect it to run properly right out of the box. All in all a good a machine and works very well which makes the wife happy that she doesnt have to break ground by hand and makes me happy that I don't have to rent a high priced tiller every year. Three years of that would pay for this machine so a very good investment.
