The first time I used it, most of the paint peeled off from the heat. I was using dry wood from my trees, not sure why it couldn't take the heat.

I really like this product. The only thing that I didn't like was how the threads did not match up on the screws for the legs very well. Other than that, it's perfect for our family gatherings with adults, children and pets.

My husband and I love sitting around the fire reading and relaxing. The firepit was easy to assemble with a few tools and has held it's own through many fires. It is nice and deep for a fire low enough to shine through the side cut outs for a nice design on the patio. I'd buy it again anyday!

We bought this fire pit for family gatherings and the grandkids love it for roasting hot dogs & s'mores. The ring around it keeps the kids & dogs at a safe distance. We spray painted ours with black Rustoleum before using it...very cute, a nice addition to the back yard.

Assembly hardware package (bolts and nuts) was missing. Since I did not want to endure a long wait to receive replacement parts, I used my own inventory of bolts and nuts for assembly, but I could not match the threads. This was probably just as well, as the whole unit was of poor quality anyhow.

Was shipped without all of the integral parts needed to assemble. It's been over a month and I still have not recieved all of he parts needed and now the manufaturer is trying to charge me for them. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Do not but anything from Sunjoy/Living Accents.

I bought this product as a gift. When I got it home and started to put together, there were screw holes to big for the screws. Parts did not line up. The product is not very sturdy at all.
