We installed this shower for our small bathroom in order to free up space so we could add storage. The corner unit is perfect for this application and inexpensive. We had the shower installed by a professional plumber and are very pleased with the results.

I put this unit in a small guesthouse/Studio. It works perfectly. Its not the best quality but its functional, looks nice and does the job. I purchased Sept 2009 and its still holding up quite well. I would def by another for a small space.

I just thought I would share some things I learned. I liked materials and impressed by well constructed glass doors. I used cement board on the walls and floor. The directions are pretty good and used the approved adhesives and caulk. I had some leaks at first but figured it out. There needs to be a bead of caulk between the bottom track assembly and the base (see 4b). Also, there needs to be a bead of caulk between the stationary panels and the wall jambs (see 5b). Caulk all the other locations as per directions. I used acrylic/silicone caulk everywhere but the interior along base and wall panel where I used 100% silicone caulk. No leak since I made these minor improvements and have had it in use for quite awhile. I also put the base on a bed of mortar, but don't really need to do this.

Worst purchase we made ever - had to pay labor twice to be fixed, they don't cover labor with replacement of shower (with receipt and pictures)....waste of time, money, effort, and paying more than once for labor to be fixed or just leave it alone and never use your bathroom again. Really sad. Don't buy that product.

I needed a shower with a small foot print, and this fit the bill. However, I was skeptical about this kit when I saw the negatives. I found a local store that had the actual unit set up and inspected it well. I liked the design and materials – ABS and Aluminum frames. Frames and tempered glass well put together. So I bit on it and made an order through the ACE store. [...] I had my bath room space down to the studs and floor opened up for drain plumbing. I was able to start with nice flat walls. After all the plumbing was in, I used ½ inch green board on the walls. I used 2 layers 1/2 inch of exterior grade plywood covered with ¼ cement board as the base. I wanted this arrangement for the ceramic tile, but provided an excellent level base for the shower. I followed the directions to a 'T" and used all the approved adhesives and calk. No problems and very logically designed. ABS wall nice and solid. Aluminum frames for the movable doors worked well. Best of all -- No leaks when taking a shower. The only flaw was in the directions. The probably should have said to add two self-tapping screws to the bottom corner connector and the bottom track. Could put the screws inside or outside. I put on the outside and looks good. I am a very experienced in building and repair, but if you have some skills and think it through you will come up with a great shower space like I have.

At first I wasn't going to purchase this - reading all the ratings and all caused me to question this product. After reviewing it with my CERTIFIED PLUMBER and he approved it, I helped him to install it (1st plumbing project I ever did) I am so glad that I DID PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. BEFORE purchasing this product, I met with my certified plumber who is also my coworker. He confirmed it to be good. He brought the necessary additional items i.e., white silicone sealant, tub adhesive, pipe fittings, copper tubing, etc. I purchased a Pegasus Shower Kit ([@]). My shower is AWESOME!!! It doesn't crack. It isn't cheap. The doors are tempered glass (as stated in product description) and basin is durable, the walls were flexible pvc but durable AND NOT placed against a hollowed wall - very important AND were sealed down with standard tub adhesive, the corner unit with shelves is great and was also sealed with standard tub adhesive [...], the drain was "self-sealing" type, but for common plumbing insurance, we sealed the drain with standard white silicone tub sealant -- THE SHOWER IS MORE THAN WHAT I ASKED FOR. The shower faucet kit really give it that POP! I not only saved a lot of money but a lot of space too!!!!COMPLAINT RESPONSES: As for the shower cracking when the hot water is on it, as a Polymer Chemist and R&D Manager that tells me the wrong adhesive was applied to the pvc walls and caused the pvc wall to polymerize with the wrong adhesive and become brittle AND leak. BAD ADHESIVE & PLUMBER. As for the mmildew - all I REPEAT ALL showers and tubs are subject to mildew ESPECIALLY IF they're not cleaned on a consistent basis. NOTHING where water makes contact is mildew free AND IF it is, then 9 times out of 10 IT WILL NOT BE SAFE FOR HUMAN USE or CONTACT ; then what???? As for the cheap materials - they were durably and well made within the cost budget. In fact after shopping around for the same shower locally and on the Internet I found Ace Hardware to have the best price! My "other" local store wanted $300.00 MORE than Ace's price! WOW! IF you like the old shower construction then this modern efficient shower isn't for you. Just because it's modern construction material you will find problems that don't exist all. To each their preference. But just know the facts. Bascially with all respect to every rating all I am saying KNOW YOUR FACTS - get a certified person's input and installation. THANKS ACE HARDWARE. In the midst of this recession you were indeed a blessing!! Now my mother, who suffers from fibromyalgia can walk into my shower and not have to climb over into a tub to shower.Thanks

This was already installed when I moved in. When you turn the water on to wait for it to get hot, if the hot water is shooting against the walls, the walls crack. The walls are plastic and really thin so now water gets inside the crack causing water damage to the underside.

This is a good price for us budget-minded people, but I would not buy this. Unfortunately, it is the only one I have found so far in this size.

This is the worst purchase of my life.
The materials are not trustable, I wasted my time and my money with this shower and even worst, I'll have to redo my bathroom from zero. New floor and wall to be able to put something usable.
PLEASE, do not waste your money, check on another product.

This shower kit is good design but needs better materials for the base and walls. The base is plastic and the wall pieces are too thin.
