Comments about HOWARD BERGER Restor-A-Finish® Wood Restorer in Mahogany:
So blessed that we found this product -- we didn't have to restain our kitchen cabinets. We have lived here for 27 years, and the cabinets were dusty, scratched, etc. Since our cabinets were so dirty, I washed them first with a bucket of water and a small amount of Murphy's Oil in the water. After they dried, I rubbed on this wood restorer on the cabinets & paneling. I used cheap, rough white wash cloths. It covered up the scratches and made our old cabinets look brand new. My husband agrees that they couldn't look any better if we had sanded them down and refinished them. This stuff works great! Only thing I didn't like about it is that I had to go back later & wipe off the excess product that didn't soak into the wood. But that was the easy part -- didn't take long. This product comes in different shades, so you need to choose the shade that best matches your wood -- ours is Mahogany. Even though this was only one pint, it covered our entire large kitchen (fronts & backs of all the doors, & drawers and paneling) and also all the cabinets in the laundryroom. It goes a very long way. I cannot say enough good things about this product.
