I read many reviews on heaters before buying this one. This is absolutely the best heater I have ever owned as it creates the warm toasty effect when I need to, but also maintains an auto thermostat that balances energy efficiency with coming home to a comfortable place after a long day of work.
Only con would be that the label sticker was not cleanly removed and so it has a mark of white on the blades but hasn't burned or caused a smell proving the safety of this device in my opinion.

We bought this heater from Ace, as it was made by Seabreeze, the same company which manufactured the exceptional Turbo Air fan which purchased last summer. We felt that if the heater was as good as the fan, we would be very satisfied. We were not disappointed! We followed the instructions carefully, and within less than 10 minutes our living room felt noticeably warmer. Once the desired room temperature was reached, the heater automatically switched to its energy saving mode. The controls are simple --- an off switch and a varibale thermostat. A lever controls the internal louvres which sweep the warmth in an oscillating fashion, without the housing rotating. This heater is very "smart", looks good, and is so quiet that we hardly realize that it is operating, except for the comfort we now feel in our living room.

It is not completely silent: I suspected that it was opened at the store, and, wish that they would have left it alone. We'll keep it, hoping that it has the right sound. When it runs, it sounds like a quiet helicopter. I think that it is safe, just like the bathroom one, but, this one does not show red heat. Turn off and unplug when leaving the house, for sure!

This wonderful little heater delivers comfortable warmth instantly, spreads the heat with four internal vanes so that the entire unit does not move, has an automatic energy saving mode and is quiet to operate. Compared to the ceramic heater we decided to retire, this Seabreeze heater does not get overly warm to the touch, so we feel safe using it around our children. It easily heats our family room in minutes of turning it on, and once the room comfort level is established, we never touch the thermostat again.

We bought this heater because it was promoted as an energy saving appliance. It certainly lives up to its "press" as it quickly heats our draughty living room in minutes at maximum heat, and once the room becomes comfortable, it automatically switches to its energy - saving mode. Four internal vanes sweep the warm air back and forth to elevate the room temperature more quickly than any oscillating heater we have owned before. It heats up instantly, is quiet, and the housing never gets overly warm, so we are comfortable for our children and pets to roam around the unit without fear of burns. What impressed us was that this excellent product was manufactured in Canada --- great technology, superior quality and contemporary design.

We bought this heater because we were so impressed with the cooling fan we purchased in June. The manufacturer, which by the way is in Canada, obviously produces high quality, energy efficient comfort products.
This SMART heater automatically senses at which heat output it should operate in order to maintain room comfort. We use it in the family room to keep that room cozy and leave the central thermostat at a lower temperature. It operates very quietly, and has four internal vanes which sweep the heat across the room far more quickly than the clunky tower heater we used last year (and which we had to replace). Once the room temperature is reached, the heater automatically switches to its energy saving mode, and continues to operate at 1000 watts thereafter. When we turn it on the next evening, it remembers the at which temperature it was previously set, so we can just set it and forget it!

Great technology, excellent quality and it certainly keeps our family very cofortable as an early fall descends on Boston.

Lightweight and small-great for moving around and it fits just about anywhere. The red color is nice for safety-makes it visable and the small size seems to make it less intrusive in the decor. Great cool-touch design on the case, I could un-plug and move it without worrying about a burn and I did not have to worry about my cats when they walked by it. It is powerful-I turn it down last night in the bedroom-kept the TV room nice and toastie too. It is whisper quiet except when it adjusts the heat up, then there is a definate fan noise. I did not hear the noise while watching TV, in the bedroom it was noticable-on the lower settings the noise is not a factor. I was definately warm and slept well. If I need another heater, I would purchase another one of these. I also like the fact that it is made in Canada too.

We purchased this heater last winter for zone heating, so that we could turn down the central thermostat and keep the rooms in which we spend most time, like the kitche, living and bedroom, more comfortable. This heater does not disappoint. It remembers the preset temperature and automatically selects at which heat setting it must opeate to maintain room comfort level. We plan to buy another this fall.
