Comments about Olson® Hard Edge Flex Back Band Saw Blade:
Olson makes very good saw blades, and the "hard edge flex back" is a step above their regular blades. This blade lasts a long time, and is far less likely to snap and break while running the saw. I like to use the "skip tooth" blades for fast sawing of volume material, as it does not clog the cuts with as much sawdust and moves faster and more smoothly. Only problem is that my local ACE has a very limited selection of these blades, and I own an old Craftsman bandsaw whose blade size is getting harder to find. Finally, I would recommend blade lubricant - it does make a difference. If you can't find it, Burt's Bees lip balm, believe it or not, does a great job of keeping the saw blade shiny clean and very smooth.
