I have made stir Fry vegetables , carrots zucinni,yellow squash,and Bell pepper, Wash vegetables, cut in 2" chunks ,place on blade and voila you have vegies for stir fry in no time.

the first time I used this to chop celery the blade broke,,it is not good for sliced potatoes like the old one..not nearly as good quality as the old one

I had one of these years ago, my first wife took it with her in the divorce, been looking for years to replace the best appliance I have ever used! Thank goodness it's back! I have used this product for over 30 years! I have the original. I used to use it for homemade french fries mostly. It is great for slicing potatoes for Scalloped Potatoes, Fried Potatoes and onions. Most recenly I use it for slicing vegetables for freezing.
After 'many years' of use sometimes the springs break, and the "Close lock" will break.
I have never had the blades break.
